Removal and installation of a door of a back (Station wagon)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.

Remove facing of a door of a back, address to the Section Removal and installation of facing of a door of a back (Station wagon).
Disunite sockets of heating of back glass and a screen wiper, and also the uniform lock. Disconnect a hose of a washer of back glass.

It is necessary for simplification of installation will fix a cord which after a pulling of wires remains in a cover on the ends of a wire.

Surely ask the assistant to take a back door before removing a gas-filled emphasis. Otherwise the door can fall since it cannot hold only the account of one damper.

Disconnect above a gas-filled emphasis (1). For this purpose raise a screw-driver a lock spring (3) a little and remove an emphasis from a spherical pin (2). Remove the second emphasis in the same way.

Uncover loops and directing for a cable, located at a loop.
For the subsequent installation: Mark with a felt-tip pen the provision of loops of a door of a back.

Turn out screws (arrows on an accompanying illustration) at the left and on the right from a back door.

Remove a door by means of the assistant.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Establish a door by means of the assistant on loops. Expose an old door thus on earlier executed tags.
Screw screws at the left and on the right.
Establish a gas-filled emphasis on a spherical support and insert a lock ring. In the same way establish the second emphasis.
Weaken a lock clamp, close a door and adjust it in relation to adjacent elements.
Tighten screws the moment 21nm.
Further installation is carried out in sequence, the return to removal.
Attach a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.

Back door: Check/adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check gaps in interface of a door of a back to adjacent elements of a body. Gaps on all perimeter have to be uniform. The door has to coincide with lateral elements of back part of a body. Over a roof the door should not act more than 0.5 mm.

Turn off nuts (1) and (3) so that the clamp of the lock (2) could be displaced.

The pad (the shooter on an accompanying illustration) on a clamp shows back.

Uncover (1) on the left and right emphasis, and install the adjusting screw (2), having turned it counterclockwise, in the situation "0".

Close a door and press it on 2 mm into a body. Open a door and tighten nuts the moment 21nm. The door has to be closed on the lock easily and not have a side play. Check gaps.

Adjust the provision of the left and right emphasis so that the closed door had no side play. For this purpose put a little plasticine on an emphasis and close a door. On a print of plasticine it is possible to judge, whether the door is correctly adjusted

Establish on a cover emphasis.
