Forward seat: regulator

Governing bodies of regulation of provision of seats on the arrangement, design and a functional purpose correspond to a seat design. Regulation of provision of a seat is carried out according to this logic by pressing of switches.

Giving of a seat forward/back

The lumbar support provides a prileganiye of lumbar department of a backbone of all its natural contour, with the landing which is not tiring even at long trips.

Memory of provision of a seat of the driver

Description

The keys of a memory located at the driver's doors it is possible to program and reproduce four various versions of the provision of a seat and external zerkal*.

Keys of a memory 1, 2, 3 and 4 it is possible to program and reproduce at most four various versions of the provision of a seat and external zerkal*.

STOP key

The memory of provision of a seat is disconnected by pressing of the STOP key. Thus OFF inscription which is near the STOP key burns (it is visible only at the included light).

All entered provisions remain in memory. The provision of a seat and external mirrors * thus can be regulated only in the usual way - by means of the electric drive. The memory is recommended to be disconnected pressing of the STOP key at incidental use of the car of the driver and therefore lack of need of programming of provision of a seat for it.

The programmed provisions can be reproduced also by means of remote radio control, see below.

Programming of provisions

During the programming and reproduction of all functions it has to be pressed the STOP key (is drowned).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Adjust the provision of a seat of the driver, see above.
  2. Adjust the provision of both external mirrors, see Lighting and providing the review.
  3. Press and hold the MEMO key. In addition press and hold not less than 1 second one of memory keys.
  4. Release keys. This situation is entered into memory now and corresponds to number of the key chosen at input.

At each new programming on the same key there is a dumping of the previous data. When programming it is recommended to begin with a key 1, leaving for other drivers on one of other keys.

When locking the car the radio key (remote radio control) into memory enters the last provision of a seat and mirrors. This provision of a seat and mirrors automatically is reproduced remote radio control at the subsequent unlocking of the car. The provision of external mirrors is reproduced right after unlocking, and the provision of a seat of the driver after opening of a door of the driver.

Thus however there is no dumping of data of a memory of the distribution undertaken earlier on keys 1-4. At any time reproduction of the entered provisions by the corresponding keys is possible.

The programmed provisions can be reproduced both memory keys, and remote radio control (radio key).

  1. At an open door of the driver once press the corresponding key of a memory.
  2. At the closed door of the driver press and hold the corresponding key of a memory, so far the seat and external mirrors will not reach the programmed position.

  1. Unlock the car remote radio control and within the next 10 minutes open the driver's door.

If after unlocking of the car remote radio control the door of the driver remains closed within 10 minutes, the provision of a seat reproduce memory keys.

Programming of a radio key

For reproduction of the entered provisions by remote radio control it is necessary to program a radio key on a memory key.

  1. The corresponding key of a memory to which there has to correspond this key, reproduce the programmed provisions.
  2. Press and hold this key and within 10 seconds in addition press the button of unlocking of a radio key.
  3. About 2 seconds of later, release a key.

  1. Press and hold the MEMO key and within 10 seconds in addition press the button of unlocking of a radio key.
  2. About 2 seconds of later, release the MEMO key.

When reprogramming there is an automatic dumping of the previous data.

It is recommended to program that the key 1 corresponded to one, and a key 2 - to other factory radio key. Through the contractual partner of Audi if necessary it is possible to get two more other radio keys and to program on keys 3 and 4.

Head restraints are regulated on height and an inclination. They have to be established on growth. Correctly established head restraints in combination with seat belts provide effective protection.

The optimum protective effect is provided when finding the upper edge of a head restraint at least at the level or higher than a level of eyes.

Remember that at the armrest lowered against the stop mobility of a forearm is limited. Therefore at the movement on the city do not lower an armrest.

Subjects of baggage have to be correctly and are reliably placed.

In interests of preservation of good dynamics of the car remember the following:

  1. Distribute freight as far as it perhaps evenly.
  2. Place heavy subjects as it is possible further ahead.
  3. By means of the cargo holding grid * or inelastic tension tapes fix baggage subjects for lifting eyes.

Air pressure in tires has to correspond to loading of the car; see an air pressure sticker in tires on a door rack, see Specifications.

Lifting eyes

For fastening of subjects of baggage in a luggage carrier there are four lifting eyes.

The grid interferes with shift of easy freight.

  2. Then pass back hooks throughout lifting eyes.

The cargo holding grid / a laying grid

The grid interferes with shift of easy freight in a luggage carrier and can be used also as a laying grid.

  1. Fix a grid for four lifting eyes.

  1. Pass hooks of a laying grid throughout the lifting eyes located in the luggage carrier back bottom.
  2. By means of a plate take away the fixing hooks (A) located in the top part of a luggage carrier down, pull a grid up and fix loops of the cargo holding grid for hooks.

Hooks can also be used for suspension of bags, packages, etc.

If hooks are not used, they come back independently to a starting position.

The protective covering bathtub of a luggage carrier represents the put synthetic covering with which if necessary it is possible to cover all luggage carrier, including racks of shock-absorbers. The sheeting of a back of a back seat can use also separately, without use of a protective covering bathtub of a luggage carrier. The covering of a back consists of two parts and it can develop in the ratio 1/3 and 2/3.

Put a protective covering bathtub only the dry.

Lateral niche

In the left lateral niche of a luggage carrier there is a CD player (CDROM) for system navigatsii*.

The CD player (CDROM) for system of navigation is in a luggage carrier niche. The description of use of the player is provided in the corresponding operation manual.

Increase in the sizes of a luggage carrier

For increase dimensional a luggage carrier it is possible to put both components of a back together or separately forward.

Correctly recorded back of a back seat (normal situation) can be locked and unlocked only the basic or an emergency key (the lock is in the unlocking handle). Thanks to it undesirable penetration into a luggage carrier from salon of the car is prevented.

At return of a back to a starting position watch that seat belts of lateral seats were in a lentonapravlyayushchy trench. Otherwise belts can get to the back lock that can lead to their damage.

Ware shelf

The ware shelf behind a back of a back seat can be used for easy articles of clothing.

Remember that the subjects rubbing about back glass can damage system of its electrical heating.

For ensuring normal air exchange do not cover with things the exhaust cracks which are on a joint of back glass and the ware shelf.

The through loading hatch with a cover

Using the through loading hatch with the cover adjoining it, it is possible to transport in salon lengthy subjects (for example, skis), without being afraid for their safety, purity and serviceability.

  1. Open a luggage carrier.
  2. In a luggage carrier press the button of unlocking of a cover of the loading hatch (the shooter on an illustration) and take away a cover down.
  3. Take away a back dividing armrest forward.
  4. In salon wring out the button of unlocking of a cover of the loading hatch down and release a cover.
  5. Take and straighten a cover.
  6. Insert skis or other similar subjects through a luggage compartment into the cover which is in salon.

Fastening

  1. Insert a belt of a cover (A) into the lock of a seat belt of the central seat (B).
  2. Hardly pull a belt for its free end (C).

  2. Accurately put a cover and fill it into place.
  3. Close a cover in salon.

Do not put a wet cover after use of it.

Luggage carrier on a roof

Gutters of the car are executed in a roof taking into account branch of storm drains. Therefore do not use the usual luggage carriers intended for installation on a car roof.

In case of use of other systems of fastening of a luggage carrier on a roof or at its installation not on the instructions which arose in this regard damages to warranty repair are not subject.

Installation

At installation of basic arms watch that they precisely entered between shooters of a marking in the condensing roof ledge. Tags are visible only in public.

Load of a roof

Freight on a roof has to be reliably fixed. In transit freight dynamic properties of the car change.

The permissible load on a roof of your car makes 75 kg. Load of a roof is defined by the sum of mass of system of fastening and freight.

When using systems of fastening with a smaller loading capacity it is impossible to use completely a permissible load on a roof. It is possible to load a luggage carrier only to the limit specified in the instruction on its installation.

Remove a luggage carrier on a roof right after use. At a high speed fuel consumption because of increase in aerodynamic resistance increases.

The socket located in a lighter nest on 12 volts can use for connection of additional electric devices.

  2. Take the lighter.
  3. Install the electric device plug in a lighter nest.

The ordinary socket located in a lighter nest on 12 volts can use for connection of additional electric devices with a power consumption no more than 100 watts.

Use only suitable plugs not to damage the socket.

Remember that at the idle engine and the included consumers of the electric power there is a category of the accumulator.

  1. For access to the socket press a cover.
  2. Install the electric device plug in the socket.

The socket is calculated on electric devices with a power consumption no more than 100 watts.

Use only suitable plugs not to damage the socket.

Remember that at the idle engine and the included consumers of the electric power there is a category of the accumulator.

List of niches

In various places of the car there is a set of niches.

In your car there are following niches:

Ware box

The ware box can be locked, and at an open cover illumination of a box joins.

  1. Close a cover that it was recorded.

Illumination of a ware box joins during the opening of a cover and the included headlights / parking fires.

In a cover of a ware box there are clamps for fastening of writing-materials.

CD changer *

The CD changer of radio system is in a ware box. The description is provided in the corresponding operation manual.

The refrigerator in a ware box

The cooling effect of the refrigerator is reached only in the mode of cooling of the conditioner.

  1. Open a ware box.
  2. Open the refrigerator.
  3. Cooling joins/is switched off by the rotary switch (A).

The cooling effect of the refrigerator is reached only at the conditioner which is switched on in the cooling mode. During the operation of the conditioner in the heating mode the refrigerator is recommended to be switched off.

Located in the "antiskid rug" refrigerator it is possible to take and use for cleaning.

Case

  1. For opening press a cover.
  2. For closing push a case completely back until fixing.

In the central console near the emergency brake there is one more compartment. On cars with system of navigation * in this compartment the control panel is located system.

Niche for storage of the folder with documents of the car

Always store the folder with documents of the car in the niche intended for this purpose.

Niche in facing of doors

In internal facing of doors niches are located.

Hangers (kryuchya for clothes)

Over each of back doors the hook for clothes is located.

Niche for audio cassettes

Audio cassettes can be stored (without cases) in the sliding compartments which are cleaned in the niche intended for them.

Niche for cartridges of the central console

  1. For opening of a compartment press the button.
  2. Lay the cartridge in a compartment the open party up.
  3. For closing push a compartment completely back until fixing.

When finding the cartridge in a compartment on the left side of a compartment there is a red tag.

Blocking of coils prevents spontaneous unwinding of a tape and by that its deformation.

Ware boxes of forward seats

From the face party of each of forward seats there is a sliding ware box.

  1. Raise the handle of a box and put forward it.

  1. Completely insert a box until its fixing.

The maximum loading of a box makes 1 kg.
