PERFORMANCE ORDER

For extraction and folding of a key press the unlocking button (the shooter on an illustration)

Two are applied to the car (in some countries four) the main a key (the put keys of remote radio control) (And) and one emergency key (In). These keys approach all locks.

Also plastic suspension bracket (C) with number is included in the package of the car. Number is necessary for production of a new key in case of loss.

Use an emergency key only temporarily in case of loss of a radio key or impossibility to use it.

Never leave a suspension bracket (C) in the car to exclude unauthorized production of a twirl.

Spare key

If necessary to order spare keys remember the following:

Specify number of a key put on a suspension bracket.

At loss of a key address on HUNDRED Audis for the purpose of blocking of its function. For this purpose it is necessary to show all keys and a suspension bracket. Besides, it is necessary to notify on loss of a key or suspension bracket your insurance company.

The spare key can be made only on the basis of number of a key. Number of a key is on a plastic suspension bracket (C), the delivery of the car which is included in the package.

At sale of the car give to the new owner a plastic suspension bracket.

Replacement of a battery of a key

Each main key is completed with the disk battery which is in a cover (B) of the case of the transmitter.

Take a key pressing of the button.

Accurate turn of a screw-driver separate a component of a key (A) from the case of the transmitter (B).

Uncover transmitter cases in the direction specified by an arrow.

Take the used battery from a case cover.

Establish a new battery.

So establish a battery that marking "+" was below. The correct polarity is specified also on a transmitter case cover.

Insert a cover with the established battery into the case of the transmitter and squeeze both parts.

Insert the transmitter case into a component of a key and connect both parts against the stop.

The battery has to meet the specification of original batteries.

Synchronize the device of remote control if it is not possible to open and close the car with its help after replacement of a battery.

Electronic anticreeping blocking

Electronic anticreeping blocking interferes with unauthorized operation of the car.

In the handle of a key the chip by means of which anticreeping blocking is automatically disconnected at installation of a key in the ignition lock is built in. At extraction of a key from the ignition lock after a car stop anticreeping blocking is included into the sentry mode automatically.

The engine of your car can be started only according to the coded original key of Audi, see Governing bodies and devices.

Under certain circumstances the engine will not manage to be started if in a bunch of keys there is an ignition key of other car.

System of locks with uniform management

Description

The system of locks with uniform management allows to unlock or lock at the same time all doors, a luggage carrier and a cover of the filling hatch.

When unlocking and locking the car by system of locks with uniform management all doors and a cover of the filling hatch open at the same time or locked. The trunk lid when unlocking is deblocked, and then opens by means of the handle. It is possible to unlock and lock the car by means of remote radio control by locks or a key from the driver's door.

It is possible to open and close windows also at the same time.

The lifting and movable panel of a roof * by means of the uniform lock can only be closed.

The system of locks with uniform management is equipped with protection against breaking. When locking the car outside of the handle of unlocking of doors in salon of the car do not work. Thereby possibility of breaking of the car is at a loss.

At malfunction of system of locks with uniform management all locks can be opened and closed a key separately. The exception is made by a cover of the filling hatch. Emergency unlocking of a cover of the filling hatch, see Gas station of the car.

Automatic locking *

At excess of speed of the car of 15 km/h all doors and a luggage carrier are automatically locked.

The car again automatically opens after extraction of the ignition key from the lock. Besides, the car can be unlocked pressing of the driver of the button located at doors or double assignment of the handle of a door.

Possibility of function of automatic locking is provided in locks with uniform management.

Locks with uniform management at desire can be equipped with function of additional extent of protection.

At malfunction of system of locks with uniform management the door of the driver and a luggage carrier can be unlocked and locked a key in the usual mode. Emergency unlocking of a cover of the filling hatch, see Gas station of the car. Emergency locking of doors, see below.

At failure of system of locks with uniform management inclusion of protection against breaking and security signalizatsii* is impossible.

Never leave in the car valuable things without supervision.

Unlocking by a key

Provisions of a key when unlocking and locking the car

Turn to the left in the provision of unlocking (And) the key inserted into the lock of a door of the driver.

For opening of doors raise the handle.

There is an unlocking of all doors, covers of the filling hatch and a luggage carrier. Protection against breaking is disconnected.

Locking by a key

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn to the right in the provision of locking (In) the key inserted into the lock of a door of the driver.

There is a locking of all doors and a luggage carrier.

The operations which are in situation are disconnected from door contacts lamps of illumination of salon.

When keeping a key in the provision of locking windows and the movable panel kryshi* are closed.

At once protection against breaking joins.

Locking of the car without inclusion of protection against breaking

The included system of protection against breaking complicates possibility of breaking of the car. At the included protection against breaking handles of opening of doors and the switch of system of locks with uniform management do not operate.
