Removal and installation of the catalytic converter and lambda probes Engine of 2.0 l of ALT Lambda probes are located before and after the catalytic converter. For removal the lambda probes is not required to remove the catalytic converter. Removal

|
- Uncover the engine in a motive compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.
- Remove a broad tank of cooling liquid.
- Disunite the socket of the index of temperature of cooling liquid. Disconnect a broad tank and take it aside. Do not disconnect hoses of cooling liquid.

- Disconnect the AKF valve (1). Turn out screws (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and take out a hose for air absorption.
|
|
- Disconnect a hose for absorption of air (1) from a hose (2). Remove a hose from the lower party of a branch pipe of absorption of air.
|
|
- Remove the case of the air filter, address to the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
|
- Disunite the socket (2) a lambda probe 2, located after the catalytic converter.
|
|
- Disunite the socket (5) a lambda probe 1, located in front of the catalytic converter. (1) – the detonation sensor, (3) – the sensor of number of turns of the engine, (4) – the sensor of a detonation 2.

Replacement lambda probes
|
|
- Turn out a lambda probes.
- Grease a carving a lambda probes with high-temperature G 05212A3 paste. Paste should not get on case vents.
- Fix a lambda probes the moment 55nm.
- If were replaced only a lambda probes: Join sockets (2) and (5) a lambda probes.

Further removal of the catalytic converter
|
|
- Separate bolted connection the catalytic converter / a final collector (shooters on an accompanying illustration).
|
|
|
|
Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage. |
|
- Lift and install the car on supports.
|
- At cars with parking/additional heating: Turn out bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) fastenings of an exhaust pipe of parking/additional heating to the lower cover of a motive compartment.
|
|
- Remove the lower cover of a motive compartment, address to the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.
- Disconnect a cover over the right power shaft.
|
- Turn off bolts of fastening and disconnect the catalytic converter from a preliminary pipe (arrow). Take out the catalytic converter upward

Protect the catalytic converter from blows. |
