Correction of laying of system of release / trailer pipe

After installation of system of release into place it is necessary to expose correctly it, otherwise there can be tension leading to emergence of cracks and/or noise.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The system of release is installed in a cold state. If system of release hot, it needs to be cooled up to the external temperature.

Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage.

  1. Lift and install the car on supports.
  1. Models with the terminal plug: Weaken bolts of fastening of the terminal plug.
  1. Displace the additional muffler forward (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) so that the preliminary tightness on the right back collar of the additional muffler made and = 7 – 11 mm.
  1. Tighten evenly bolts of fastening of the terminal plug the moment 40nm.

Models with the terminal plug located between preliminary and additional mufflers

The preliminary muffler needs to be exposed only at cars with the terminal plug located between preliminary and additional mufflers.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken bolts of fastening of the terminal plug, poses. 22 on the illustration System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases. Engine of 2.0 l of ALT.
  1. Displace system of release forward (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) so that the preliminary tightness on the right forward collar of the preliminary muffler made and = 7 – 9 mm.
  1. Tighten evenly bolts of fastening of the terminal plug the moment 40nm.

Installation of a trailer pipe

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Trailer pipe establish so that distance "and" at the left it was equal to distance "and" on the right. At the same time the distance from cut under a bumper to a pipe above made "b" = 20 mm.

Diesel engine of 2.5 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Modify the and size as follows: Weaken a nut (the shooter on an accompanying illustration) fastenings of communication between exhaust pipes. Expose exhaust pipes evenly on the center. Tighten a nut the moment 23nm.

Petrol engine of 2.5 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check distance "and" between a trailer pipe (1) bumper (2). It has to make 40 mm.
