Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.

  1. Remove the right lateral facing in a luggage carrier, address to the Sections Removal and installation of facings (Sedan) and Removal and installation of facings (Station wagon).
  1. Disunite the socket.
  1. Turn off by means of the special AUDI T10010 tool bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration), displace an adjusting element forward and take out it.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Displace emergency blocking (3) over a blocking pin of an adjusting element.
  2. Establish an adjusting element so that the blocking pin entered the closed cover of a fuel tank (2). Displace an adjusting element back and tighten fastening bolts.
  3. Join the socket and establish lateral facing in a luggage carrier, address to the Sections Removal and installation of facings (Sedan) and Removal and installation of facings (Station wagon).
  4. Attach a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.
