In case of emergency

First-aid kit

The first-aid kit can be stored in a dividing armrest of back seats.

For access to the first-aid kit pull the handle up. The maximum loading of a niche makes 0.5 kg.

Sign of an emergency stop

For extraction of a sign of an emergency stop turn a high-speed lock in the direction of an arrow and take away the holder down.

In a trunk lid it is possible to place the sign of an emergency stop which is only specially provided for this purpose entering the nomenclature of original autoaccessories.

Fire extinguisher

The fire extinguisher of a factory complete set is in the holder located in space for feet of the forward passenger.

Extraction of the fire extinguisher

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pressing of a key with an inscription <PRESS> (shooter) deblock a fire extinguisher belt.
  1. Take the fire extinguisher from the holder.
 

Fastening of the fire extinguisher

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the fire extinguisher in the holder.
  2. Fix the fire extinguisher a belt.

After use of the fire extinguisher

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Again fill and check the fire extinguisher.

Study previously instructions for use the fire extinguisher. Instructions for use are printed on the fire extinguisher.

For maintenance of the fire extinguisher in constant readiness for the use regularly (the latest each two years) check the fire extinguisher at the relevant specialized enterprise or in fire protection.

Upon purchase of the new fire extinguisher make sure that it approaches the holder.

Watch period of validity of the fire extinguisher. Use of the overdue fire extinguisher does not provide necessary efficiency of suppression.

Tool set, the first-aid kit for repair of tires and a spare wheel

Set of the tool and jack

Set of the tool (And) and a jack (In) are under a luggage carrier flooring.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift a flooring for the plastic handle.
  2. Suspend a flooring by means of the handle (C) for consolidation of a luggage carrier.
  3. Deblock a box with the tool, having pulled the box handle up.
  4. Take a set of the tool or a jack.
  5. Return a flooring on a place and only then close a trunk lid.

The following tools are included in the package of the tool:

  • wire capture for polnorazmernykh* / decorative caps of wheels;
  • plastic clip for removal of protective caps of wheel bolts *;
  • wheel wrench;
  • safety finger for replacement of a wheel;
  • screw-driver with a perestavny core;
  • towing eye.

Before laying of a jack return a lifting paw to starting lower position.

Some of the given positions are included in the package only of certain modifications or are established to order.

The first-aid kit for repair of tires

The first-aid kit for repair of tires is under a luggage carrier flooring.

The pressurizing means for sealing of damages of the tire, and also the compressor for inflating of the tire enters the first-aid kit for repair of tires. They allow to pressurize reliably the damages of the tire caused by foreign subjects with a diameter about up to 4 mm. Thus the foreign matter can remain in the tire.

Instructions for use can be found the pressurizing means and the compressor respectively on a bottle with the pressurizing means and on the compressor case.

Steel spare wheel

The steel spare wheel is in a niche under a luggage carrier flooring. It is intended only for short-term use.

Extraction of a spare wheel

  1. Lift a flooring for the plastic handle.
  2. Suspend a flooring by means of the handle for consolidation of a luggage carrier.
  3. Unscrew the handle rotation counterclockwise.
  4. Take a spare wheel.
  5. Return a flooring on a place and only then close a trunk lid.

Laying of a faulty wheel

  1. Lay a wheel in a niche for a spare wheel.
  2. For fixing of a wheel screw in the handle rotation clockwise.
  3. Return a flooring on a place and only then close a trunk lid.

Your car can be completed at manufacturer with a steel spare wheel. Owing to constructive data (the disk/tire size, composition of rubber, protector drawing, etc.) the spare wheel, as a rule, does not correspond in the working parameters to serial tires of the car. Therefore you should remember the following restrictions:

The steel spare wheel is allowed to be operated only on the car of your model. It can be mounted only on your car.

In case of installation of a steel spare wheel road performance of your car changes.

The steel spare wheel is intended only for short-term installation in case of tire "puncture". As soon as possible replace a steel spare wheel with a standard wheel with the serial tire.

If the size of the tire of a steel spare wheel differs from a serial wheel, under certain circumstances it is impossible to mount antisliding chains on a spare wheel.

The spare wheel is in a niche under a luggage carrier flooring.

  1. Lift a flooring for the plastic handle.
  2. Suspend a flooring by means of the handle for consolidation of a luggage carrier.

The cars exported to some countries are completed not with a wheel with the standard tire, and easier compact emergency kolesom*.

Spare wheel with the directed protector drawing

If as a spare wheel the wheel with the directed protector drawing is used, it is necessary to remember the following:

  • The direction of rotation of a wheel is defined by a tag in the form of the arrow put on a tire sidewall.
  • If in case of a puncture the spare wheel has to be established opposite to the direction of the movement determined by protector drawing, this measure has to be temporary only as the tire in this case cannot realize fully optimum road performance inherent in it, such as lack of tendency to hydroplaning, noiselessness and wear resistance. Especially we recommend to remember it during wet weather, proportioning movement speed to a condition of the carriageway.

Compact spare wheel (emergency wheel)

The compact spare (emergency) wheel is in a niche under a luggage carrier flooring.

Use of an emergency wheel

The emergency wheel is intended only in emergency to reach to a workshop. Therefore at the first opportunity replace it with a wheel with the standard tire.

On operation of an emergency wheel some restrictions extend. The emergency wheel cannot be used on cars of other models.

On a disk of an emergency wheel putting on of standard or winter tires is not allowed.

Antisliding chains

For technical reasons putting on of chains of antisliding on a compact emergency wheel is not allowed.

Therefore in need of the movement with antisliding chains in case of "puncture" of a forward wheel put an emergency wheel back. In turn put on the removed back wheel of a chain of antisliding and establish it on a place of a faulty forward wheel.

Replacement of a wheel

Preparation

Replacement of a wheel demands preliminary preparation.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Stop on an equal surface and whenever possible far away from a transport stream.
  2. Land all passengers and track that they were out of a dangerous zone (for example, from outer side of a road protection).
  3. Tighten completely emergency brake.
  4. Include the first transfer (a manual transmission) or install the lever of the selector of automatic transmission in situation "P".
  5. At the movement with the trailer: disconnect the trailer from the car.
  6. Take a set of the tool and a spare wheel from a luggage carrier.

At a carriageway slope in addition enclose an emphasis under an opposite wheel.

Observe requirements of traffic regulations.

Replacement of a wheel

Process of replacement of a wheel includes below-mentioned stages.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take off a wheel cap. See also below "Decorative caps of wheels" or "Wheel bolts with caps".
  2. Weaken fastening of wheel bolts.
  3. Lift the car.
  4. Remove/establish a wheel.
  5. Lower the car.
  6. Tighten wheel bolts a wheel wrench cross-wise.
  7. Establish into place a cap.

Operations after replacement of a wheel

After replacement of a wheel it is necessary to execute a number of operations.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lay the removed wheel in a niche for a spare wheel and record.
  2. Lay a tool set on a place.
  3. Urgently check air pressure in the tire of the established spare wheel.
  4. Check the moment of an inhaling of wheel bolts a dinamometrichesky key. The standard moment is specified in Specifications.
  5. As soon as possible replace a faulty wheel.

If when replacing a wheel it is found out that wheel bolts rusted or hardly go on a carving, they should be replaced before measurement of the moment of an inhaling. Before control of the moment of an inhaling, care for the sake of, go only with a moderate speed.

Full-size caps of wheels

For access to wheel bolts take off full-size caps.

Removal

  1. Take off a full-size cap a hand.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Press a full-size cap to a disk in a place of cut of the gate in the beginning. Then record a full-size cap on all circle of a steel disk.

Decorative caps of wheels

For access to wheel bolts take off decorative caps.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Enter the wire capture which is included in the tool package into an opening of a decorative cap.
  1. Pull and take off a decorative cap.

Wheel bolts with caps

Before an otvorachivaniye of wheel bolts remove caps.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pull the plastic clip which is included in the tool package over a cap. Thus internal clamps of a clip have to be latched in a cap burta.
  1. Remove a cap the plastic clip (shooter) which is included in the tool package.

Installation

  1. Put on caps bolts.

Caps serve for protection of wheel bolts.

Easing and tightening of wheel bolts

Weaken wheel bolts and only then lift the car.

Easing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put on a wheel wrench against the stop a wheel bolt.
  1. Turn off a wheel bolt approximately on one turn (shooter) to the left. Thus hold the key handle as it is possible closer by its end.

Tightening

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put on a wheel wrench against the stop a wheel bolt.
  2. Tighten a wheel bolt rotation of a wheel wrench clockwise. Thus hold the key handle as it is possible closer by its end.

The internal hexagon executed in the screw-driver handle cannot use for moving or for an inhaling of wheel bolts. Carefully press a foot edge of the handle of a key if the bolt does not move. Reach thus steady position and hold the car.

Dismantle and installation of a wheel

Dismantle or installation of a wheel includes certain stages.

After moving of wheel bolts and lifting of the car replace with a jack a wheel in the following sequence:

Dismantle of a wheel

  1. Screw-driver handle hexagon (from a tool set) turn out the most highly located bolt of a wheel and put it on a pure surface.
  1. In the released opening screw in a hand the safety finger which is included in the tool package.
  1. Then turn out other bolts according to the above-stated description.
  1. Remove a wheel. The safety finger remains in an opening.

Installation of a wheel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put on a spare wheel through a safety finger.
  2. Screw wheel bolts by means of a screw-driver handle hexagon slightly tighten them.
  3. Twist a safety finger and also slightly tighten this bolt of a wheel.

Wheel bolts have to be pure and it is easy to go on a carving. Check a surface of a prileganiye of a wheel and a nave. Remove pollution on these surfaces before installation of a wheel.

The internal hexagon in the handle of a screw-driver facilitates a vvorachivaniye and a reversing of wheel bolts. The screw-driver core thus has to be taken out by Perestavna.

At installation of wheels with the directed drawing of a protector do not forget about the direction of rotation of a wheel.

Do not use the internal hexagon executed in the screw-driver handle for moving or for an inhaling of wheel bolts.

Tires with the directed protector drawing

Tires with the directed drawing of a protector have to be mounted taking into account the direction of rotation.

The direction of rotation of a wheel is defined by a tag in the form of the arrow put on a tire sidewall. Surely observe the specified direction of rotation. Only in this case it will be possible to realize optimum qualities of these tires, such as lack of tendency to hydroplaning, noiselessness and wear resistance.

Installation of a spare wheel opposite to the direction of the movement determined by protector drawing in case of "puncture" demands care at the movement as the tire in this case cannot realize optimum qualities inherent in it fully.

Especially we recommend to remember it during wet weather, proportioning movement speed to a condition of the carriageway.

For full use of advantages of the tire with the directed protector drawing as soon as possible replace the damaged tire for restoration of the correct direction of rotation of all tires.
