Removal and installation of the electric motor of the drive of the ventilating gate

Ventilating gates are set in motion by the electric motor. All electric motors fasten equally on a heater/conditioner box. For access to an installation site it is necessary to remove various covers. For simplification of orientation electric motors are painted in various colors.

After installation electric motors need to be coordinated with the control unit. On HUNDRED for this purpose there is a special diagnostic unit.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.

  1. Remove a ware box, address to the Section Removal and installation of a ware box.

Electric motor of the drive of the gate of heating of glasses

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disunite the socket (And) and turn out screws (In).
  1. Disconnect the electric motor from the holder (C).
  1. Disconnect the electric motor lever (D) from a connecting bar.

Electric motor of the drive of the right gate of adjustment of air temperature

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disunite the socket (And) and turn out the screw (In).
  1. Disconnect the lever (C) the electric motor from a connecting bar (D) and remove the electric motor.

Electric motor of the drive of the central gate

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a pocket from the driver, address to the Section Removal and installation of a pocket from the driver.
  1. Disunite the socket (And), turn out the screw (In) and remove the electric motor.

Electric motor of the drive of the left gate of adjustment of air temperature

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disunite the socket (And) and turn out screws (In).
  1. Disconnect the lever (C) the electric motor from a connecting bar (D) and remove the electric motor.

Check of the electric motor

For check of the electric motor it is necessary to make a special cable.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Use  the plug (A) AUDI 8D0 972 706. (5) and (6) attach wires with a section of 0.25 mm2 to contacts. Attach ordinary plugs crocodiles to other ends of wires (In).
  1. Attach the plug to the electric motor, and the plug crocodile to a source of a direct current of 12 V. The electric motor has to move against the stop. At change of polarity the direction of rotation has to change.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the electric motor so that pins (And) and (C) entered a groove of a cam washer (C).

On an accompanying illustration the electric motor of the drive of the central gate is shown.

  1. Lay a plait of wires so that it did not adjoin to moving parts, for example, the electric motor lever.
  1. Further installation is carried out in sequence, the return to removal.
  1. Attach a negative cable (-) of the battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Battery.

  1. Carry out the main control by means of the diagnostic unit. Consider information from memory of malfunctions and then erase it (work HUNDRED).
