Coupling

General information

Flywheel, basket and disk of coupling

1 — the Flywheel
The adjacent surface turned towards frictional slips has to be smooth, and not have oil and greasing. Watch the reliable provision of the aligning pins.
2 — the Bolt for a flywheel. Surely replace. Attention: Clear vents of primary shaft of a check point and at installation of the coupling disk which was in work a nave. Remove a rust.
without two-mass flywheel: 60nm + 90 °.
with a two-mass flywheel and bolts of 22.5 mm long: 60nm + 90 °
with a length of bolts of 43 mm: 60nm + 180 °

3 — the Conducted coupling disk
Adjusting situation: The damping package (springs) have to be turned towards a press disk. Frictional overlays of the conducted disk have to adjoin to a flywheel, an inscription "the party of a check point" if it is available, is turned to a press disk.
4 — Press a disk. Observe the provision of installation
5 — the Bolt 25nm. Turn off and turn in stages
A/V Color points. If are available, the white point (And) has to be from a two-mass flywheel, and a white point (In) - a press disk

On the considered models one-disk dry coupling with a diaphragm spring is established.

Coupling consists of a basket with a press disk, the conducted disk, the bearing of switching off of coupling and the hydraulic drive.

The basket of coupling is connected by bolts to a flywheel which is in turn fixed on cranked to an engine shaft. Between a press disk and a flywheel there is a conducted coupling disk which nestles on a flywheel a press disk. The conducted disk of coupling is connected through shlitsevy connection with primary shaft of a transmission.

By pressing a pedal of coupling with the help of a hydraulic actuator the bearing of switching off of coupling presses a spring of a press disk. Thus the disk unloads press and the conducted disk does not nestle on a flywheel any more. Power communication between the engine and transmission interrupts.

Coupling of all models with RKPP has the hydraulic drive. Working liquid is brake fluid which arrives from the general tank of brake fluid.

At each inclusion and switching off of coupling owing to friction there is a wear of frictional overlays of the conducted disk. The conducted disk is the wearing-out coupling element. Its average service life makes over 100 000 km. Speed of wear depends on loading (the movement with the trailer) and management style the car. Coupling does not demand service, since it self-established.

The majority of engines is equipped with a two-mass flywheel. Such flywheel has the spring damping system allowing to extinguish the tortional fluctuations arising during the operation of the engine. Besides, thus noise level on low turns decreases. The coupling disk at such flywheel consists of a nave, the conducted payment and frictional slips. The damping springs are not established.
