The system of production of the fulfilled gases of the petrol engine consists of a final collector, a reception pipe, the catalytic converter (pour), the central muffler, a connecting pipe, the additional muffler and a trailer pipe (trailer pipes).

Petrol engine of 2.0 l

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Lift and install the car on supports, remove the lower cover of the engine, address to the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.

Spray all bolts and nuts of system of release by means for dissolution of a rust and wait some time.

Turn out bolts on a connecting flange the catalytic converter / reception a pipe.

If the system of release has to be removed together with the catalytic converter, turn out fastening bolts on a flange a final collector / the catalytic converter and remove a lambda probes, address to the Section Removal and installation of the catalytic converter and a lambda probes.

Disconnect a forward cross-piece of fastening of system of release.

Do not bend a flexible connecting element in a reception treba more than on 10 °, otherwise it can be damaged. By means of the assistant disconnect and remove system of release from collars.

Diesel engine of 2.5 l

Removal of preliminary and additional mufflers

Cut off a pipe a hacksaw on tags. Lateral tags show, the terminal plug can be how far shifted.

Disconnect the muffler from rubber holders and take out.

Installation of system of release

Sealing laying, nuts and bolts have to be replaced surely. For simplification of later dismantling of system of release Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC is recommended to grease bolts and nuts of fastening with high-temperature paste, for example.

Do not bend a flexible connecting element of a reception pipe more than on 10 °, otherwise it can be damaged.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Install system of release by means of the assistant in rubber holders.

Fix a forward cross-piece the moment 25nm on the car bottom.

Fix system of release at a flange with a new sealing ring, new bolts and nuts. Observe the tightening moments.

If acted a lambda probes, establish them, address to the Section Removal and installation of the catalytic converter and a lambda probes.

Installation of preliminary and additional mufflers

If preliminary or additional mufflers were only removed, fix mufflers new collars.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Arrange the terminal plug (1) on the middle of a cut. The terminal plug (1) has to settle down horizontally, bolts have to show to the left.

Install the terminal plug so that the end of a bolt did not support its lower edge.

Evenly tighten bolts the moment 40nm.

Expose system of release so that it settled down freely, without tension and deformations.

Establish into place the lower cover of the engine.

Replacement of a trailer pipe

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Cut off a hacksaw a trailer pipe (1) in a division place (C).
Shift a trailer pipe (3) to a tag (And). Thus combine a cut on a trailer pipe with a tag (In). Tighten a collar (2) moment 25nm. Expose a trailer pipe.

Check of system of release on tightness

At cars with the adjustable catalytic converter leakage of system of release can result in difficulties in start of the engine. The engine stops, shivers during the work on single turns, twitches at increase in number of turns.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Start the engine and at the working engine close system of release by a rag.

Listen to system of release. If necessary, spray places of connections a head of cylinders / a final collector and a final collector / reception a pipe means for search of leaks. Check, whether there are no bubbles.

Eliminate leakage.
